Mirataz

Mirataz is a veterinary-prescribed, transdermal cat ointment containing 2% mirtazapine. It is indicated for body weight gain in cats with poor appetite and weight loss, offering a convenient topical application to the inner pinna of the ear once daily. Early recognition and treatment of unintentional feline weight loss is critical, and Mirataz provides a topical cat medication option for at-home use. It is described as the first and only veterinary approved transdermal medication for the management of weight loss in cats. Available in a 5 g tube (DIN 02504626).
